I'm sorry finals, relationships, and people are a bitch.
Anyways the cold and snow and people just don't go together. I was in a car accident a couple days ago and it was horrible. My car is damn near totaled and the person drove clean off and left me with the bill.
Moving past that, note: That we as Americans have hit the 75th anniversary of Congress repealing the 18th amendment, Prohibition.
After Prohibition's "dramatic increase in illegal activity, including unsafe black market alcohol production, organized crime, and noncompliance with alcohol laws," Congress noted, the repeal of Prohibition allowed the creation of "a transparent and accountable system of distribution and sales" that generated "billions of dollars in Federal and Sales tax revenues and additional billions to the economy annually." - Taken from Alternet
Is it safe to say that the same thing can be attributed to drugs or at least marijuana. Would American life be better off if bud was taxed like alcohol? Would it be a better economic stimulus then multi-billion dollar bailouts???
UNTIL WE BLOG AGAIN....
